Dr. Stone has authored fourteen scientific peer-reviewed papers with another one pending publication shortly. Additionally, he coauthored a chapter in a total joint replacement textbook and has presented seventeen papers to national organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Pain Society, American Academy of Pain Management, American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Society of Nuclear Medicine.

Dr. Stone is a member of twenty-three local, state, regional, national and international professional societies. He has won Who’s Who recognition in Marquis’ Medicine and Health Care, Science and Engineering, Finance and Industry, the South and Southeast, America and the World. He is listed in the Castle Connolly Guide of “the best Florida doctors.”

Locally, Dr. Stone serves as President of the JFK Medical Center Medical Staff, the Chairman of the JFK Institutional Review Board and is a member of the JFK Board of Trustees. He was the 84th president of the Palm Beach County Medical Society, Chairman of the Columbia Hospital Orthopaedic Surgical Division for ten years, and Palms West Hospital’s Chief of Surgery for four years.

Dr. Stone has been married for over twenty years. He resides with his wife, Wendy, an attorney who serves on the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County University of Pennsylvania Alumni Club, and their two children, Melissa, a freshman at Yale University, and Logan, a freshman at the Pine Crest Preparatory High School. Dr. Stone serves on Yale University’s Alumni Schools Committee and is a member of the local alumni clubs representing Harvard University and Columbia University.
